Who we host

Whoever needs
a real address —
for a fortnight or four.

Not for everyone. For people who’d rather text the owner than chase an agent — and who want a working kitchen, a real bed, and a front door of their own while they’re here.

01
Who Stays With Us

Six kinds of guest,
one kind of house.

  1. i

    Contractors & engineers

The biggest part of what we do. Saltend, Hull refineries and the rolling Yorkshire industrial projects; long-running Medway construction; London commercial fit-outs. Whole houses for crews of three to seven, parking on the door, an actual kitchen at the end of the shift — not a Travelodge breakfast bar.

  2. ii

    Corporate relocations

The bridge between the airport hotel and a six-month tenancy. New role, new city, family arriving in a month — you need somewhere proper to land that’s not your employer’s problem. We rent by the fortnight, by the month, by the season. No agency fees, no holding deposits, no fuss.

  3. iii

    Insurance decants & home displacement

Flood, fire, leak, structural — when a claim leaves a family without their home, the loss-adjuster needs somewhere within forty-eight hours. We work with claims handlers and direct policy-holders to step in fast, and we’ll quote rates straight to the underwriter on request.

  4. iv

    Visiting professionals

Locum doctors and contracted clinicians at HRI and the Medway trusts. Visiting academics and PhD examiners at the University of Hull. Consultants on long client assignments. Anyone whose stay has a definite start date, a definite end date, and a need for a proper desk in between.

  5. v

    Film, TV & production crews

Cast, crew, runners, producers. Whole-house lets for shoots in Hull’s creative quarter, Rochester’s period streets and South London. Block bookings, late check-ins, early call sheets — we’ll work around your schedule.

  6. vi

    Families between homes

Mid-move, mid-renovation, mid-life-change. A real house for a real chapter — with room for the kids, somewhere to do laundry, and a kitchen worth cooking in.

02
What’s Different

Three things,
kept simple.

I.

One owner, one inbox.

Direct booking. No agency, no third party, no holding music. You message the person who owns the house — usually back within the hour, often within the minute.

II.

Houses, not boxes.

Each one chosen and refurbished by the same person. New kitchens, real beds, art on the walls. You’re staying in a home that someone’s put thought into — not a unit on a spreadsheet.

III.

England’s quieter half.

Hull, Bromley, Rochester. Properly liveable cities that the bigger operators overlook — near the universities, near the hospitals, near the projects, but never at central-London prices.

Tell us your stay.

Where, when, how long — and we’ll come back the same day with what we’ve got.
